The One-Eighty Residency
For-Credit Gap Year and Internship Program in Lodi, California
Join our one-year internship program for an in-depth introduction to mission, theology, and daily life. As a resident, you will engage in various activities, learn to live in a dorm environment, appreciate cross-cultural experiences, discover how God works in your life, and develop habits that will keep you centered throughout the year.

ouR program at a glance
A one-year Christian gap-year and internship program in Lodi, California, where young adults live in community, study theology, and serve at-risk youth in a real neighborhood.
Duration: 12 months, starting at the end of July
Location: Lodi, CA — Heritage District
Cohort Size: 9 residents per year (intentionally small for a hands-on experience)
Affiliation: North American Baptist Association + Kairos University
Two PAthways
Resident Student — $1,250/month

Earn up to 54 college credits toward a Bachelor's Degree through Kairos University while doing full-time ministry and community development.
Resident Intern —$800/month

Average of 25 hrs/week of paid ministry experience and earn a Certificate in Contextual Mission from the North American Baptist Association.
Who is this for?

Christian young adults, 18–25 years old

High school graduate with a minimum 2.5 GPA and 2 year college experience for interns

Passionate about youth ministry, missions, or community development

Ready to live, learn, pray, and serve alongside a close-knit team for a full year

Live together at the Central Street House → Study theology in small classes → Serve teens at our Teen Center and school sites → Travel to El Salvador → Grow spiritually through daily prayer and mentorship→ Get a glimpse of your year here!
